I am running Xorg on 9.3-RELEASE-p21 on a Nvidia vanta (which is a TNT ):

[ 996.823] (==) NV(0): Depth 24, (--) framebuffer bpp 32
[ 996.823] (==) NV(0): RGB weight 888
[ 996.823] (==) NV(0): Default visual is TrueColor
As can be seen from this...
If you are following the handbook on configuring Xorg, ignore what the handbook says about running Xorg -configure.
Don't run Xorg -configure
If you already followed the handbook and created an xorg.conf make sure to remove /etc/X11/xorg.conf or /usr/local/etc/X11/xorg.conf before proceeding...
