USB 3.2 Gen 2x1 and above (10 Gbps+)

Is it just me doing something wrong, or USB 3.2 Gen 1x1 (5 Gbps) is the greatest available protocol (bandwidth) of FreeBSD's USB stack? I have an NVMe SSD + enclosure, a C-C cable, and a corresponding port on my motherboard, and also a USB PCIe expansion card; all decent and works with 10 Gbps on Linux and Windows, but with FreeBSD on the same hardware it's capped at 5 Gbps. I'm unable to find anything related online.
