Hello. I recently setup a OPNSense firewall, and everything works great except it appears that FreeBSD does not support the Intel AX200 Wi-Fi module. Does anybody know if it will be supported in the near future, or if there is any way to get it work today? I've SSH'd into the firewall and run...

Ethernet link interfering with wifi signal

I have been experiencing intermittent wifi issues for the past 1-2 years. I had aways thought it was my internet service provider - although interestingly, turning wifi off and on again on my laptop, usually solved the issue (temporarily). Then last week I tried something new: I disconnected the...

    RTL8821CE driver?

Hello, As sure as some of you know, getting WiFi to work on this OS can be a hassle - especially when the network card you have is not supported. Just curious - will there be the prospect of an RTL8821CE driver in FreeBSD?

    No network interface when installing

I'm installing FreeBSD 12.1 in a laptop, and when the installation prompts to configure the network (IPv4/IPv6), no adapter appears. I entered another tty (Alt+F4) and run ifconfig, where only lo0 device shows up. Any idea on how to make it recognize the WiFi card?

    Unsupported wifi driver workaround

Wifi support is the only thing holding me back from switching to FreeBSD from Arch and Manjaro Linux (I have yet to test touchpad support since I don't have wifi to install KDE). WiFi for Lenovo Flex 14?

I have a Lenovo Flex 14 from Amazon, and I have been hoping to install FreeBSD on it. I have experience with Linux (Arch, Gentoo, Void, and most of the generic Desktop Distributions), but the package systems (pacman, emerge, xbps, apt-get) never seem to appeal to me, whereas FreeBSD's system...

    Another BCM4322 (FreeBSD 12)

I would like to apologise in advance, if this is straight-forward, and/or answered elsewhere on the forum--I have tried for the past few hours to look hard before I dared ask any questions, and I combed through the WiFi section of the Handbook, etc. Basically, in short, I am using an EliteBook...
