Greetings, I have installed FreeBSD 15.1 (Beta3) on VMware Workstation 15, and it keeps repeating an error now. "Name could not be resolved at this time (2)".

What should I do?

I looks like your network isn't reaching the outside. Could you show us your /etc/rc.conf (just the lines showing the interface and router, it will look something like (on a home network)

ifconfig_re0="192.168.1.40"

or might just say dhcp..
Also the result of ifconfig |grep inet

Right now, we don't have enough information to help too much.

The guest OS is using NAT to the host OS, so it should have free access to the internet. Are these screenshota any more helpful?
That error keeps coming up so if I linger too long in what I'm typing, I'll loose it and have to start over again.

Actually I switched back to the 15.0 Release from last year and reinstalled that, that network issue seems to be fixed now. It is downloading packages.

Although I actually got the XFCE Desktop environment installed and working, though when I connected my USB flash drives to the guest OS, it couldn't open my flash drives. Why would that happen?

You're in read-only mode, in this mode you can't install packages. Remount partitions in RW mode.
