Migration to FreeBSD

I'm thinking about switching my server from Debian to FreeBSD. I'd like to know if all the services I use are available on FreeBSD. Mainly, I have doubts about Immich since I think it's not compatible with FreeBSD. If it's not compatible, could you tell me what other option I could use? What interests me is backing up my photos from my mobile devices. And if jails can replace Docker. The services I use are:
  • Vaultwarden
  • Nextcloud
  • Navidrome
  • Immich
  • 4get
  • Obsidian Livesync
  • Cloudflare
  • Ghost
What service should I use for supervising my server? In terms of notifying me if it goes down or the server's processing usage in real time.
 
I just did this very thing last month. You won't find nearly the variety in jails as you can in linux dockers. You will have to substitute some things for something else. Example is I had to use Go2rtc instead of restreamer for my cams and Qbittorrent instead of Deluge for my linux iso files.

From your list, I think most all of those have native apps on FreeBSD. Also, I especially love the ZFS stuff that is built in...it is amazing for my storage and doing backups and snaps...nothing on Linux compares to it imo and I will not be switching back. Setup a jail and snap it and then when you screw it all up trying something new, then just one command and in literally seconds its back to how it was before you started. Same can be done on the entire OS drive with Bectl. Good luck!
 
Yeah I also tried Immich and never got it to work. I also found that it was big giant bloated hunk of junk too. That thing is huge and the AI stuff will destroy your cpu. I'm just using Filebrowser now to view pics.
 
Is Immich just a photo/video host software? The demo doesn't show anything too different than Piwigo or Lychee, and both host easy with PHP (Piwigo FreeBSD notes). I preferred Lychee's UX, but wanted a mobile app and Piwigo has that :D (both flat-file backup easy too)
 
Yeah it is just a photoviewer but it has face recognition AI and a ton of other stuff. Was way too bloated for me. I just want to look at my pictures easily
