Laptop and Desktop Workgroup Call - Inputs/Feedback?

Dear community,

First of all, a (slightly belated) Happy New Year to everyone!

The Laptop & Desktop Workgroup calls have been running for just over a year now, and I think this is a great moment to pause and reflect together.

We started strong, with many active participants and great discussions. My goal is to keep these calls valuable and enjoyable for everyone - without them becoming repetitive or feeling like a chore.

So I’d love to hear from you:
  • Are these calls (still) relevant and useful to you?
  • What could we do differently to make them more engaging or interesting?
  • If you haven’t joined yet, what would make you want to participate?
Your feedback is incredibly important to help us shape the next steps for the workgroup. Whether it’s a quick thought or a detailed suggestion, I truly appreciate any input you’re willing to share.

Thank you for being part of this community and helping us make FreeBSD even better!

I think they have been useful. Thanks for organising them. Usually I just catch up with the video later in the week but yesterday was the first I attended live.

I feel the spreadsheet has gotten a little neglected, but perhaps people have also just become quite busy over the end of last year.

Thanks for joining and your work!

Yes, good point on the spreadsheet. It could likely use another overhaul. Alice did some wonder work last year but it certainly requires some more attention. The updates would then likely proceed quicker and would be better structured.
