This is the kind of 'heavy border patrol' that I like.
They are actually pretty heavy to lift with the big transformers and steel chassis, although probably not as heavy as my old 1970's Sansui receiver, that thing really was a '2-man lift'. BP started out in England of course, but I think the company moved to the US years ago.
BP used to make and sell external power supplies for my AI 300 (the british one, not the Stello), they don't make 'em like that any more. The 300 is quite heavy too. I don't think there are many of these left around nowadays. Lovely sound quality.
