..I have already invested 60 or 80 hours in the "getting FreeBSD installed on Apple G5 PowerPC project" ..
I'm sure he did not invest 2 minutes reading what I wrote on 07.April:

Also you can subscribe to the ppc-mailing-list :

Over and out. 😂

Well, I've been investigating again:
---
The good news is:
FreeBSD on PM G5 is undergoing massive development, so
as if the Apple G5 had come on the market today 😂

From dev work I know that today even a PullRequest for openjdk 11 powerpc_64 was merged.

the bad news is:
The TO here was right: the 11.x + 12.x iso-files are not production ready for G5
( normal for a Tier2 platform )

and the best news is :
G5-owners who are willing to help the project(and themselves of course )
could give it a try here (from what I've read out of the reports, no warranty):

strongly recommended to stay in contact with the ppc-mailing - list & bug-reports
- tell the exact machine-specs ( specially RAM&CPU).

--
In short:
It`s still Tier2(and will never be Tier1) and if you want success on G5 you have to give feedback to the dev-lists.

please post your machine-specs in your bug-report,
if you have luck there's someone with the same machine and knows more how to fix the issue
