Who can tell me how I can get the drivers of an AMD/ATI mobility radeon hd 4850 for an imac 11.1?. The ati drivers work I get the screen black. Thanks a lot.
Hello, I've the same machine and observed the same issue on Linux. Because the drm-kmod is a Linux port, your problem may be related. Have a look at this issue on freedesktop.org, there I've posted a patch that fixes the black screen problem after startup. Currently I do not have a BSD installation but maybe you could give it a try under FreeBSD.
