When is dark mode ever gonna get "fixed"?

There's already some threads talking about the issues on the dark theme here. Heck, there even is a patch for it, which I found intriguing that it still hasn't been merged or anything (not even a single response on its thread 🥀).

I really love this theme, but those flaws are just awful. Are the people who use this theme just way too few for these to be relevant?
 
it does have black which could easily be applied to link previews for example, instead of that white···

Just adding white to the neutral palette would help... That dark grey over black thing for text really doesn't work, broken is a proper word.

And broken things must be fixed.

There's even a blue theme. Come on, some of us don't like to have white background dumpling light to our eyes.

It's fixable, even if it meant that the brand colors have to be updated. There could be a case for one lighter grey in the neutral palette, too.

i guess that's why the forum feels like it was put together by duct tape at times
