Has anyone used the xfdashboard?

I think it has a lot of potential, but the functionality is lacking.

I'm unable to add favorites to the bar itself, and if I right-click add as favourite; the icon disappears.

Not seeing anything online regarding this anywhere else, so not sure if it is FreeBSD specific.
 
It is the ugly version of Gnome Activity, it might have sense as "MacOS Exposé" effect but is poorly implemented. I do not recommend it to anybody.
