I don't think it's a good idea to set any deadlines here, Alain. Most likely you won't meet them, and then it'd be much harder, if not impossible, to make up for it. That's just how it works.

When trying to develop new habits I'd focus on consistency no matter how small my first steps might be. Overall, it's much better to do something for like 30 minutes a day every (other) day, than to pour all the energy into the first week or two and then inevitably burn out.

To me it seems impossible to properly read 30 books full of science in 25 weeks if you're not a field expert already, but setting such goals you're creating for yourself absurdly unrealistic expectations. And when you fail to meet them, you'll end up feeling even worse than if you hadn't done anything at all. No one should put themselves in that kind of situation. I even think it'd better not to set any expectations at all.

And what the hell is this "Punishment Factor"?
