Where's a clean /etc/rc.subr?

I apparently didn't get a good merge when upgrading from 13.2 to 14.0, and /etc/rc.subr has at least one error:

/etc/rc.subr: 992: Syntax error: redirection unexpected (expecting word)

I'll go back and see if I can edit the file to work, but it seems like I ought to be able to fetch a copy from somewhere. However, I don't find it on github on in /usr/src/etc.... I feel like I'm missing something on changes to the development model and WWW presence in the last few years? Where can I get a clean copy of /etc/rc.subr as it appears in 14.0-RELEASE?

If 'src' component is not installed then just download and extract a base system image:

https://download.freebsd.org/releases/amd64/14.0-RELEASE/base.txz

(replace "amd64" by your architecture, if required)

Use fetch() to download
and
unxz() to extract it somewhere.

You may want to try freebsd-update IDS (note: this will take some time).

Charlie, I hadn't seen the cgit site mentioned ever. Exactly what I was looking for. I guess as usual that we found something "more FreeBSD-ish" than GitHub
