What does [cmd]acpi_get_handle[/cmd] do?

In the FreeBSD source code there is multiple uses of some acpi_get_handle() around the source code, e.g. in /usr/src/sys/dev/pci/pci_host_generic_acpi.c, /usr/src/sys/dev/tpm/tpm_crb.c, /usr/src/sys/dev/virtio/mmio/virtio_mmio_acpi.c.
But there is no implementation found when searching acpi_get_handle with grep -n acpi_get_handle -R /usr/src/.
And found no mention in https://docs.freebsd.org/en/books/arch-handbook,
And found no mention in https://man.freebsd.org/cgi/man.cgi...+15.1-RELEASE+and+Ports.quarterly&format=html The manuals.
And found no mention in https://docs.freebsd.org/en/books/design-44bsd/.
Generally no mention in the documentation https://docs.freebsd.org/search?DB=en&P=acpi_get_handle.
Generally there is little information about it, and little hint of what could generate it.

FreeBSD kernel, acpi_get_handle() is an internal helper function used by drivers to fetch the underlying ACPI namespace handle (ACPI_HANDLE) associated with a specific FreeBSD device instance (device_t).
