USB KB and Mouse attach, detach, re-attach on FreeBSD 14.0

I'm working to get upgraded to a new MB, GFX, etc with my usual KB and Mouse.

I have a new:

ASUS ROG STRIX E-E
CPU AMD 7700X
RAM 32 GB G.Skill CAS 30 (2x16GB)
RADEON 6700 XT

(This is all running with KDE5 on X at this time - Huzzah!)

My problem is USB. It seems to be kernel/board related. The keyboard and mouse just randomly attach/detach and re-attach.

Even while not running KDE or other windowing systems, I can watch the LED backlights just go dark when it happens. The pattern SEEMS random. Where can I look for the issue?

Thank you!

Paul

Thanks for the files, however I can't easily decipher what's logged, and I don't know code names.

Is this a notebook, or a desktop computer?

How, exactly, are the keyboard and mouse connected? Any external hub in the mix?

Some things to try / look for:
- if possible try different ports on the motherboard for mouse and keyboard
- do you have other usb devices connected? If so, try to disconnect them an see if that changes anything

There was nothing else attached. However, it's solved. The MB has over 10 USB ports between on board and connected to front of box. One of them is bad. Everything is working correctly. This can be closed and thank you all for your assistance. (Getting closer to just having one desktop and it being FreeBSD!!!!)
