Other Trim the entire SSD from FreeBSD's LiveCD?

Recently I bought one, and while playing with reinstalling distributions I wonder if I can TRIM the entire SSD using Live tools? Or I am mistaking something?

EDIT: To make it clean and faster. Again, am I missing something?

It does not work.
camcontrol(8) reports:
Code:
ATA_SECURITY_SET_PASSWORD_FAILED: 0.
The one Linux-based distribution I found, PartedMagic, fails too.

The SSD model is Crucial CT250BX100SSD1, part of the BX100 series.

Can I just erase all the data, install an OS, and wait faithfully that it will trim the drive for me?

If file system of the OS supports TRIM, then it should erase new disk. For UFS that should be explicitly specifies with '-E' parameter to newfs. ZFS does it automatically if it sees device supporting TRIM.
