tigervnc and xrdp refuses to work

hello i am using freebsd on my computer (not headless device and using DE on it and installed display drivers - nvidia)
and i wish to be able to connect to it its DE remotely not just ssh but both tigervnc and xrdp refuses to work

I use xrdp regularly, and it has worked for me with minimal fuss.
Let's start with some basics:
Are you using xorg, xlibre, or Wayland?
Things should work the same with xorg or xlibre, but there may be enough differences to matter.

Did you change anything in the xrdp.ini or sesman.ini files found in /usr/local/etc/xrdp?
Did you set your desktop environment in startwm.sh? If so, what did you put there?

Also, it would probably be helpful to review the /var/log/Xorg.0.log as the xrdp message suggests.

i use xorg (i think it is configred correctly i can get desktop to work on my monitor but idk for sure)
i didnt touch xrdp.ini or sesman.ini
in startwm.sh just commented out my DE (plasma) so i think this is all what i need here
here is also the xorg logs

i need now to edit to /etc/X11/xrdp/xorg.conf , for my device but i dont know what i need to do drm-kmod is for amd and intel not nvidia so i used (nvidia-drm-kmod)

but now how to find my render device and should i keep DRMAllowlist as is or edit it for nvidia

I believe this is only needed if you want some sort of hardware acceleration. I don't need that, and don't install those drivers, and it is working well for basic access.

I didn't see anything in the xorg log that clued me in on a problem, but I might be missing something.
I have found that the default lines in startwm.sh are not always correct for loading the DE. I don't use plasma, but use XFCE and TWM. Instead of using what is in startwm.sh by default, I have to input what I would normally put in for .xinitrc. You might try using:

Alternatively, to make sure it is not just an issue with plasma, try loading just a twm session, using this in startwm.sh:

exec /usr/local/bin/twm
If you haven't worked with twm before, you will just get a blank screen, but if you right-click on the screen, a menu will pop up, and you will have the option to exit and end the session. That will confirm if the xorg and xrdp are properly working, and if the issue comes down to something with plasma.

For your information, I had xrdp that wasn't working since a few months. I looked into the logs but found no clue. It just said: "failed to start Xorg".

Reading this thread, I installed xorgxrdp and it worked. I verified that if I deinstall xorgxrdp, it doesn't work anymore and that the case (only if you disconnect the session). There is no config to do conversely at what you read in the xorgxrdp installation message.

I have xrdp-0.10.6.1_1,1 and now, xorgxrdp-0.10.5_1. I had set the certificate and key in xrdp.ini and also set the correct command in startwm.sh, the one I have in my user .xinitrc. It's important.

what is your GPU also is your setup headless?

Not really headless, it's connected to the TV, and there is a Xorg session always open (even if I display rarely it).

I have an Intel HD630 and drm-61-kmod + firmwares. I didn't specify these to xrdp or xorgxrdp. It seems it uses the existing Xorg parameters.

A test with glxgears shows that it's accelerated by this HD630.

the issue that i have nvidia card which not listed in /etc/X11/xrdp/xorg.conf DRMAllowlist
freebsd is really bad with nvidia - got alot of headaches getting desktop to work at all with my card
