slight slowdown when activating caps lock

first of all, hello everyone. I wanted to mention a problem I'm currently having with the caps lock.

basically, as the title says, I've been experiencing a slight slowdown (probably 1 or 2 seconds) when activating the caps lock on my keyboard. It's a bit annoying sometimes, but I wanted to know if there's any way to get rid of this problem. Thanks!

btw my keyboard is a lenovo SK-8825 L (spanish latam layout),in case that helps.

Can't answer your actual question, but can you explain more?

What slows down?

Do you mean it takes 1 - 2 seconds for the Caps Lock light to come on? And 1 - 2 seconds before the letters you type are upper case?

Or do you mean your computer operations seem to be slower - longer to access drives, draw the screen, etc.?

Is it only when "activated" - so turning on Caps Lock? If you deactivate/turn off Caps Lock are there any issues?

How is the keyboard connected? (Looks like it's USB?) Does it work fine on other computers? It looks like it is a USB hub, got anything else plugged into the keyboard?

Is this in the console or a GUI or both? If a GUI, which one (KDE, XFCE, etc.)?

What version and architecture are you using? 13.X, 14.X, 15.X on amd64, arm64, what?

If you try a different keyboard, does the issue go away? Or still present?

I mean, the desktop stops responding

When I disable and re-enable them, the same thing happens

It is a USB keyboard, works well in others, I had already tried it

I'm currently using xfce 4.20

FreeBSD 15.0 x86_64

I haven't tried it yet
