Other Script for deleting Logs in the log folder

Hi guys I need all of your help,
Iam looking for a script for Cron, which can I use for automising the purifing of the DNS-logs in the log folder of my companies freebsd DNS server. Iam new to Freebsd coming from linux so please have some indulgence with me.

Check if newsyslog(8) and newsyslog.conf(5) will take care for this for you.

Yep, that would be the preferred solution, it has the same function as Linux' logrotate. Our newsyslog(8) can, despite its name, also rotate non-syslog logs.

If you are using named, then named.conf has a directive for rotating the log file.
