news about thunar package?

Apparently, the issue is related to the pkg update in FreeBSD 14.2, about which there are many topics on the forum...
For information, yesterday I successfully updated the packages to Q2 FreeBSD 13.5 XFCE (virtual machine) and there were no problems with thunar, everything works fine. Similarly, I updated pkg Q2 FreeBSD 13.4 on a laptop, no important packages were removed, but I don't use thunar there.

Maybe they will fix Q2 for FreeBSD 14.2 soon.

The recent issue had nothing to do with the ports tree, latest or quarterly. There is NO difference between a ports tree on 13, 14 or 15. All versions use the exact same ports tree.

Code:
root@fbsd-test:~ # pkg search thunar
thunar-4.20.2 Xfce file manager
thunar-archive-plugin-0.5.3 Archive plugin for the Thunar File Manager
thunar-media-tags-plugin-0.5.0 Media tags plugin
thunar-vcs-plugin-0.3.0 Version Control System plugin for Thunar
Test machine is on quarterly packages.

Running XFCE4 here I dropped Thunar some time ago when it was not usable. I switched to x11-fm/xfe and stayed with it.

If I were to install x11-fm/thunar now this looked like installing this additional stuff:
Code:
> pkg install -r FreeBSD -n thunar

So for those liking minimalism there is no need for having trouble with a bloated file-manager.

I'm still running thunar because I copied the executable and some libraries from the previous version of FreeBSD before the upgrade...

Why not doing like me ? I'm still using the removed file managers...
Because I do not have any broken graphical file manager on my system, the only ones I have are for terminal and theses don't break easily ;)
Full DE are nice but for me the combo windows manager + independent software is better, less dependencies and it's faster and lighter.

That being said I installed x11-fm/xfe yesterday because I was curious about it(I like to try things) and honestly I might keep it around just for fun and/or as a backup, just in case.

Now its appear..good

also in this "bad moment" fvwm3 is gone , now it appears
