thanks, allways everyting is fixed (respects to the mantainers) only have to waitApparently, the issue is related to the pkg update in FreeBSD 14.2, about which there are many topics on the forum...
For information, yesterday I successfully updated the packages to Q2 FreeBSD 13.5 XFCE (virtual machine) and there were no problems with thunar, everything works fine. Similarly, I updated pkg Q2 FreeBSD 13.4 on a laptop, no important packages were removed, but I don't use thunar there.
Maybe they will fix Q2 for FreeBSD 14.2 soon.

The recent issue had nothing to do with the ports tree, latest or quarterly. There is NO difference between a ports tree on 13, 14 or 15. All versions use the exact same ports tree.Apparently, the issue is related to the pkg update in FreeBSD 14.2, about which there are many topics on the forum...

Running XFCE4 here I dropped Thunar some time ago when it was not usable. I switched to x11-fm/xfe and stayed with it.
If I were to install x11-fm/thunar now this looked like installing this additional stuff:

while x11-fm/xfe has these dependencies:
So for those liking minimalism there is no need for having trouble with a bloated file-manager.Code:pkg query %do xfe x11/xcb-util x11/libxcb x11/libXrender x11/libXrandr x11/libX11 x11-toolkits/fox16 x11-fonts/libXft x11-fonts/fontconfig print/freetype2 graphics/png devel/gettext-runtime devel/desktop-file-utils
Batch renaming can do Krusader and DoubleCommander.Thunar has batch file rename which I use a lot. So far, I haven't found another file manager that offer similar functionality.
x11-fm/xfe does that too(you can even add your personal scripts), I've installed it just to look at it and honestly it's not bad at all, it has many unexpected features for a light weight file manager.Thunar has batch file rename which I use a lot. So far, I haven't found another file manager that offer similar functionality.
Because I do not have any broken graphical file manager on my system, the only ones I have are for terminal and theses don't break easilyWhy not doing like me ? I'm still using the removed file managers...
I can't tell for sure because I don't use webdav but if we look at xfe features it doesn't seem be supported.Does x11-fm/xfe operate over WebDAV?
Everything seems to be back in order, virtualbox-ose, gnome, plasma6-plasma, things were finally built properly.
