Hi, forum. I have the ASUS M5A78L-M LX3 motherboard, and I wonder if it'll work fine with freeBSD.

Mainboards are typically not a problem. It's the specific chips used for things like network or wifi that might be an issue.

I have two computers with similar motherboards which running FreeBSD.
I use it as a "server" for some small offices.
I run FreeBSD without GUI for many years 24/7.
No issues at all.
