Mixxx crashes on startup

It compiles fine, thank you. But I'm having trouble with my hardware: I have a Focusrite Scarlet Solo (2nd Gen) and I just can't get it so that the microphone plays "mono" rather that "stereo" (which comes through the left channel only). Everything else works. I've spent all morning on this. The only difference I can see from my Void Linux setup is that FreeBSD uses OSS rather that ALSA.
So I can't use it professionally. But thanks so much for your efforts!
Maybe you can try the 2.4.1. from ports, it might resolve this issue (due to different compilation options)?

If you use jackd you can just connect the one mic line to two inputs in qjackctl.

Another option is port audio/virtual_oss. Works on top of base oss and allows you to define dsp devices per i/o channel. See the man page for a few examples.

Thanks to all. However, I really needed this to work as I rely on it for my job. So... sadly, I had to replace FreeBSD and go back to Slackware. I'll give it another try when I'm not so pressed for time.
