i am looking for a AI subscription sub 20$ with good limits

same as title , any suggestions?
claude limits are bad , gpt limits are little nice but still not good at all
kimi limits are also not that good
ollama cloud is the same
github bills by api pricing , not usage pool same as ollama cloud , very bad deal

so i do not know what else i can try

Preamble:
"Is this an AI forum?" I guess it is a little bit yes.
Besides: this is OFF-TOPIC, for goodness sake! Let the kids talk about whatever they want.

Response:
I don't use AI as an API to generate code, so I can't help. I use ChatGPT plus, whith costs $20/month and includes a lot of stuff, in my opinion. I think it also includes some API use, but I'm not sure.

Certainly not. It may contain AI, some AI slop which needs to be tolerated, but it is by no means "an AI forum".

Whatever? Certainly not.
"Certainly not" means, I hope, not about what the rules of the forums don't allow. Anything else should be allowed or you should appropriately change the rules of the forums. Arbitrariness is a very ugly thing.

We would assume you use your common decency here as well. If someone feels the urge to talk about things that warrant a 4AM no-knock visit, get help. But don't try to air your thoughts about everything here. This is not reddit, and it certainly ain't 4chan. Just consider we show your postings to your dear old mum/granny, yes?

That is for sure a personal attack in very bad taste. I won't respond to it because you can ban me without good reason and I like many of the users here.

well , so should i remove this post? , not AI forum but in off topic , i guess it is ok to ask about it

I subscribed to OpenCode briefly ($5 for the first month) and was ok with it. I say ok, because if you have a full-time job and do this as a hobby, you are unlikely to hit the limits even if you use the expensive models. If this were your full-time job, then you could easily hit the limits.

I am using completely the free tier of everything (this is what I have working thus far):
devin
kiro
copilot
openhands
opencode
codex
cursor
antigravity
jules
aider (openrouter)
cline
kilo
grok

I have my own 'router' which routes to the providers that reset daily and burns through them first, followed by weekly, and monthly. The best performers for me were:
devin, opencode, antigravity, jules

codex, cursor, and claude perform well, but have substantially lower limits (for the free tier).

I have just started using cline and kilo and they seem to be on par with devin, but I don't have much experience.

my experience with grok free was about nearly identical to when I first started with AI in 2024, their free models are terrible. But, I have only used it about 2x, so perhaps I need to try more to prove that wrong?

That said, I feel that the opencode big pickle model outperformed qwen 3 max and qwen 3 plus and I paid for qwen ... Opencode big pickle has generous free limits and I generally don't hit them. But, the thing is, you have absolutely no idea when you will hit the limit.

Eh, the problem now becomes, how do you validate that what AI generated was correct or useful? That is where I spend most of my time these days. I have pipelines, but still, the human is the bottleneck.
