FreeBSD with 55" plasma tv as display screen crop

I have a FreeBSD machine hooked up to a 55" plasma tv and the image is cropped all the way around.

Is this a TV setting or a FreeBSD setting that I need to fix the cropping?

The output is HDMI and the version is FreeBSD 13.2 Release.

I tried both plasma and mate. But from the loading screen to the desktop and terminal everything is cropped.

Can be both. Some TVs have special settings for computer display (i.e. android based). I also work on TV - 40inch Sharp in 4k@60Hz mode.
Please attach additional info - TV model you have, GPU (graphic card) and xorg.conf.

Also might be a good idea to check, use and play with xrandr I have multiple monitors and 55 inch TV hook up to my machine. It could be dimensions issues if TV reverting to small size like 360, 480 or 720. (TV settings aspect ratio plus xrandr should be the path to getting this fix)
