Solved Does _really_ teams work with firefox under FreeBSD?

I am having hard time with this... as other's can't see me, I can see myself anyway on the teams.
Tested with www/chromium -works- so no camera permissions for sure.
Is some codec I miss or just www/firefox on FreeBSD is .... crippled? Thanks!

Same for me. I cannot see other's videos or shared screens.

Are you talking about MS Teams?
I use it every day for work in Waterfox on FreeBSD.
I remember the issue with not seeing other's video over a year ago, but now it's OK.

aragats yes, MS Teams.. I can see myself on the video - and even sites like webrtc check / webcamtest etc - issue is they can't!
They only see a white or black screen (depends their theme..)

Use teams inside chromium often. Can see, be seen and can share screens.

xchris like Geezer said, MS only supports teams on Blink (Chrom*, Edge) or Webkit (Safari). Running under Firefox is only okay for chat.

1:1 calls, it will depend on the phase of the moon (i.e. Teams web and Firefox releases)
1:N calls, likewise

Please note that sometimes you may get all of the above working on Firefox but don't depend on it. The only decent solution for FreeBSD (or Linux for that matter) is to use Chromium.

it works with firefox on linux in fact (just checked it on my Alpine box)

nope as www/chromium works,it is probably some cocked up config on the specific port of FF

like I said, it depends, on freebsd with firefox I usually have no issues with audio only calls, video sometimes works, others it won't. screen share idem. As I have to work with teams daily I prefer to not leave stuff to luck and just use chromium for teams. @nxjoseph it's not an widevine issue as I've my firefox with that and chromium without.

On Rocky Linux same situation, only Chrome based browsers for video and screencasting, chat/audio works.
