I use FreeBSD as a desktop only. I notice there are some services running which I don't probably need, which are safe to disable?
I tried, for example, to disable rpcbind but when I did, XFCE wouldn't load. I'm not serving/hosting files or anything nor is my desktop connected to other systems via LAN. Just one happy desktop which I want to trim the fat on.
