It has its uses but the problem is how it is developed and utilized.well google introduced AI search from a while and google search is not the same
does anyone feel the same?
Didn't NapoleonWils0n create something like that a little while back?It has its uses but the problem is how it is developed and utilized.
You cannot just throw AI at everything blindly. That is where these large corporations are stumbling over these days. The technology is never a cookie cutter solution.
So I propose this question then: why doesn’t the FreeBSD community and broader BSD community develop its own artificial intelligence (AI) based technologies?
It is better it be developed within the community then daily feeding our data to a third party LLM. But then the question becomes is that even feasible? Is it practical? Pragmatically useful?
The first place I would start is at our handbook (the search bar): https://docs.freebsd.org/en/books/handbook/

Now that actually looks useful.you can now use a notebook as a source for a gemini chat
which means you use the chat to query the notebook
Now that actually looks useful.
