pkg takes too long time to start

I see this in 15.1-RELEASE that I installed in my notebook,but in my desktop 15.0-RELEASE it works fine
today in my desktop run
pkg install gzdoom
and it "hangs" in

Updating FreeBSD-ports repository catalogue...
for about 4 to 6 minutes

now I know that is not 15.1-RELEASE related problem

I dont modify the pkg.conf file or added any repository , what can it be?

Does it improve if you force it to use IPv4? You might have some issues on IPv6.

pkg -4 install gzdoom

Code: 
     -4      pkg will use IPv4 for fetching repository and packages.

yes, besides that I had the kernel compiled whitout ipv6 support(I know,is not the best practique)

I change from https to http method in FreedBSB.conf file, but not improve

maybe I should change the repository? , the more close to me an faster is the Brasil repo
 
Either https traffic is blocked outbound, is modified inbound (are you using any tls-terminating proxy?) or pkg can't verify the certificate.
Try certctl rehash (or install security/ca_root_nss) to fix the latter.

As a temporary workaround, you can also adjust the repo url to 'pkg+http', but if it is a failing TLS connection, you should definitely find the reason for this.

Nothing, is strange , I never use any proxy and even a firewall in my machines or the ISP router
and even with "pkg+http" not fix the large delay

update: I share my cell phone wifi and used it with my notebook(15.0-RELEASE) to discard ISP problems and is the same result
allways works just fine,but about a 1 or 2 months ago start with this looong delay
 
Did you try rebuilding the CA cache? I once had a similar behaviour in some newly created jails which for whatever reason had no root certificates.
 
update 2: change the mirror to "kul" and "bra"(this is the closest one )
