Yes, he has helped me lots of times, but I wasn't aware of his extensive set of videos.

I have so much to learn, although watching a video of something makes it much easier than reading docs. Usually you can follow an example to see if you can recreate what is shown.
 
He's got kind of a yorkshire accent, but not very broad. He doesn't sound like a Leeds or Bradford accent to me, maybe south yorkshire. I'm not completely sure he's from yorkshire. Hmm, maybe I'm wrong about him being a forum member, not certain.

I used to notice there were different accents in different areas of the larger cities, like Leeds, that originated in the villages that used to be there before they joined up into a city in the last two centuries. I could tell which part of the city they were from by their accent. Bradford had quite a distinct accent of its own, and Ilkley and the dales were different again.

wrong. That's more some kind of a romantic idea of a gold mine. That's how medieval goldmines looked.

The average quota of today's mined gold resources is ~5 g gold per ton rock.
One can say, per a single goldring 20 t rubble is produced and dumped along with tons of mercury or sodium cyanide and other very toxic waste into the landscapes, causing large substantial destruction of whole landscapes.
Combimed with diamond mining it's a neat idea that every couple must have two goldrings first for engagement and then two again for marriage, beause it's so very romantic, but above all tradition.
Tradition: Doing inconsidered stupid things without asking just because others also do it.

While a ring made from paper-mâché would last longer than an average marriage. 😁

Only the last line was the joke. Count it: one - 1 - line.
Not everybody is capable to understand one-word-statements in every occasion.
And some may think, because they grasped it, so does anybody else.
Alas, that's not always the case.
 
Just going to add to this thread, because I think it's worth mentioning somewhere :). I've mentioned that my issue with dwl, NapoleonWils0n 's favored Wayland window manager, and, I think the subject of many of his videos, was that it didn't support Japanese the way many Wayland window managers did. It seems, judging by https://codeberg.org/dwl/dwl/commit/2f3fe0671df9fd9aee34acc6ef2471a76b4cece6, that this is going to change soon. I realize that this only affects a few (maybe only me?) users on this forum. and I haven't confirmed it yet, the port will have to be updated, as I'm too lazy to patch myself--but I'll also mention that the FreeBSD dwl maintainer, has been VERY responsive to my various complaints, sometimes fixing things faster than they get fixed at codeberg.

I thought a thread about NapoleonWils0n s videos, so many of which include dwl, was a good place to mention it.
