My experience with gnome. Unfortunately doesn't work on my Radeon pro

1) Tried it on an Nvidia gpu and gnome works but gdm don't show any user , i can still login if i press an error message in the middle giving
2) Tried gnome on my Radeon Pro it doesn't work tried everything i got an empty dark-gray color screen
 
It is nice that you form an opinion here but unfortunately this was not asked. GNOME is not the perfect but you don't have to keep beating the horse when it's already dead.
 
Well, Gnome seems to have taken a very "Linux-centric" road, so you could ask yourself whether it's worthwhile to port/package it for a BSD system… of course, as long as someone is willing to do this work, there's nothing wrong about it ;)

But at least, the most widespread "contender" (KDE) seems to have *some* interest in portability.

Finally, I don't see anything asked in the OP? Could be just a statement of being unsatisfied with Gnome?
