That's the reason for hotswap. :) If you spill something on it, there's a good chance you can just replace the switches and it works again.

If you're prone to doing this, might I suggest just getting any cheap USB keyboard? It won't hurt as much if you spill another drink on it. It gets rather painful if you do this to a $150,- keyboard.
