Hello, I have a fresh install of freeBSD on my desktop and I used a tutorial to install xfce and slim but it just won't start. I included photos of the config files and the error message. I can't explain what is wrong, it worked flawlessly on my laptop.
Ok. That's the problem. From what I saw here, it's not easy with Nvidia cards. Do a search on this forum (nvidia, 1050). There are several threads about that.

Thanks! I found this and it helped. But now I am stuck on the slim login screen. It just won't accept my account or username. It just says: failed to execute the login command.
