XDM seems working on different display...

Hello,

I have recently installed XDM and it was working until I have finally managed to configure NVIDIA Optimus to work as prime. Now, XDM works judging from the fact that I am able to log in by typing username, return, password and return but no login prompt or background gets displayed on the monitor.
Any ideas how to get the login prompt back?

Do you mean by "login prompt" and "background" the XDM login greeter?

How did you configure xdm to start? Over /etc/ttys or /etc/rc.conf xdm_enable="YES" ?
