Hi, everyone! this is my first post here!
I have tried with Debian 10.6 guest, no problem with virtio-scsi disk controller(virtualbox setting). With freebsd, at booting time, it stuck at mounting /dev/gpt/rootfs because there is no disk detected. ( With ide controlller virtualbox setting, ada0 device detected; scsi controller setting, da0 detected)
Using boot loader, After entering command >load /boot/kernel/kernel, >lsmod I found all virtio modules have already loaded in kernel. Even so, I still added "virtio_load="YES" virtio_pci_load="YES" virtio_scsi_load="YES" " these lines into /boot/loader.conf file. the result is same.
I googled a lot, seems it is because virtio_scsi not support booting.
If you need I do further troubleshooting procedule, feel free to ask. Any help would be appreciated!
