You can try to update the pkg database. Try to do the following :
Code:pkg upgrade
And then try to install KDE :
Code:pkg install kde5

I've installed KDE Plasma without problems(maybe a little bit about lagging desktop enviroment).I get this from time to time too, the system just doesn't "see" there's a change and doesn't update the local cache. Forcing the update of the local cache is the solution;pkg update -f
.
