What's your favourite keyboard?

I use a Perixx Periboard 524 with Neo Bone layout ( setxkbmap -layout de -variant bone) at home and a Logitech ERGO K860 for Business at work. The rubber dome keys on both boards are not as good as mechanical keys but I get a better angle for my hands for typing. With the Periboard I can have nearly 40° and more than 30 cm space between the halfes and so I have a more ergonomic seating position in front of my computer. Since I started using these keyboards and the Neo Bone layout, I haven't had any back pain or wrist pain.

I would like to buy a split mechanical column-staggered keyboard. But most are unpayable (Ergodox EZ, Dactyl) or outrageously expensive or have only a handful of keys (Corne, Lily58, Sofle, Budgy, ...).

250€ for a keyboard, wow. I know that there are many people who are keyboard fans (of fanatics it you wish) but I just don't get it.
That's a bit wild, but maybe they have high-end chassis and plate/rubber tech? I'd be fine with a $50 GMK60 and a spare box of Cherry MX switches ($20) :p

I currently use a Keychron Q3 Max keyboard which I find great to type on.
You can see its features here:

If anyone having one of these kinds of Keychron keyboards has been experiencing "double characters" appearing from a single keypress then I may have found a cause.

A search online showed that users were saying there may be a fault with the keyboard deep within the case, or the switches used may be malfunctioning.

I was ready to accept these explanations when I had an idea: could there be debris like hairs, crumbs etc around the switches interfering with the switches perhaps?

I flipped the key tops off around the offending "double character" key and sure enough found a couple of hairs and crumbs. I removed them and replaced the keytops and the problem disappeared.

I tested the same keys extensively and never once saw one keypress producing two characters again.

I'm remaining cautiously optimistic that this problem has been fixed but you never know.

Hopefully this helps someone.

I bought a month ago a Razer BlackWidow Lite (Orange Switch).

Not much better than my old compac keyboard. Same feeling. Keys almost equally heavy.

The only reason to buy it was that I wanted a keyboard without numeric path, in order to have the mouse nearer to it.
