I never understood overclocking. CPU has a pipeline his own o.s. why annoy it with frequency.

I prefer to let burst mode do its thing. Most of my CPUs end up running at around 30% utilization anyways, unless I'm doing heavy batch image processing or something: 2XWestmere2.4ghz (four core each, with hypter-threading enabled)
