What power optimizations gave you the most results?

I have no issue with power so far on an x270 thinkpad, but it's fun to tinker with it further and get a very optimized system. I think that freebsd can really outpace any other operating system at least in practice because configuring it is MUCH easier than anything else.

With luakit and wezterm open alongside previous power optimizations, I can read around 17 hours of battery life with one battery having 80% charge and the other 94%. I remember on manjaro I got much less power than this.

Also, having a sleep keybind would be very useful, I could press it whenever I know I'm going to be using my tablet but not for a few minutes. This alongside quiet boot and autologin (for better feeling powering on) could theoretically save a lot of power in the long run.
