What do you think about Google's WEI (Web Environment Integrity) initiative?

Anyone know what could have prompted that ban?

Auto moderator that no one moderates. Knee jerk reaction by "woke" moderator. Usually on boards that no one should ever visit such as reddit.

As this thread discusses bots, I was perm-banned from a very popular forum unexpectedly, all I did was submit a lengthy on-topic reply to a popular thread.

reason for ban: Bot, type: Permanent, Restoration: Never.

and I'm "what on earth?" Anyone know what could have prompted that ban?

You might have been banned by a bot that suspected you're a bot. It's bots all the way down. Pretty soon there will be no humans left on the Web. It'll be all bots talking to each other.
