newborn doesn't know how to swim and the other whales help a mother to keep newborn above water that it can breath. The nature is amazing.

And just less than 100 years ago we almost hunted Blue whales to extinction. For blubber.

Great article! Amazing to see them holding the newborn up above the surface. It almost looks like they are lying in a lattice under the surface, with more whales lower down underneath the ones at the surface.
