Voyager 1 is 15 billion miles from Earth

I'm assuming that is one light day in distance/time?

Thank you Maturin and Yes to CraigW :)👍

It's autumn, time for hiking (yes, I'm on the northern hemisphere; but springtime is also very good for hiking.)
Tip:
Do a planets trail (german Wikipedia)
Due the lack of an english Wikipedia site:
A planets trail is a true scaled model of our solar system, mostly 1:1 G, starting at Sun with 1.4 meters diameter, Earth with 13 mm, while pluto is app. 6 km away in this scale.
Apart from it's as a reason for a nice walk with friends ending in some outdoor restaurant, having discussions about where Voyager 1 should be placed in this model, where our next neighbour star - it's very educational to experience the scales and proportions of real space.
🥾🚶‍♂️:beer::cool:

It will eventually die without power someday, estimated in 2030s, Voyager 1 will get silent.
Seems it's related to the plutonium life span.
I wish I could see a last photograph of Earth from there before it goes out but honestly I think I would see only a spot which is the Sun.
There's no much around there I think.
Voyager 2 is 13.4 billion miles away and in 2030's it will go silent too.
We have to find ways to travel faster or we won't get anywhere but our own system.
