Recent host upgrade to FreeBSD 14.2.
Now, guest networking slows to a crawl.
Virtualbox network interface set to Bridged.
Download speeds about 10% of expected normal rate.
Strangely, upload speeds working as expected.
Tested with both BSD and windoze guests. Same outcomes, so assume this problem arises on the host.
Using Virtualbox-ose 6.1.50 installed using pkg, also compiled and installed virtualbox-ose-kmod from ports to overcome kernel conflict.
Just for grins and testing, I changed the network interface from Bridged to NAT.
Now the download speeds working as intended. BSD and windoze.
Does anybuddy have suggestions for how to get downloads working correctly in Bridged mode ?
Thanks for any tips or clues.
