Virtual machine on HP Z2 G1I Workstation Desktop PC

I used to have an old HP Z420 workstation; however, either late last fall or earlier this year said Z420 died on me so I went and purchased a HP Z2 G1i that i'm currently authoring this post on.

It's also my daily driver because it's really the only "wintel" machine that I've got that can properly Handel both my daily driver workloads and virtualization via Oracle VirtualBox.

uname -r output

FreeBSD ashley 15.0-RELEASE FreeBSD 15.0-RELEASE releng/15.0-n280995-7aedc8de6446 GENERIC amd64 (Virtual Machine)

The underlying hardware is mostly irrelevant for a VM. Unless you're using passthrough the VM will only "see" virtual devices.

No, I'm not using pass through as I don't think that I'm skill enough to set it up and I most likely would need to invest in some more RAM for the host machine so that I could use pass through the onboard Intel integrated graphics chip set that came with my HP Z2 G1I Workstation Desktop PC.
