(/var/run/user/1001/pulse): No such file or directory

As I understand it, after upgrading from 13.2 to 14.0 and all the pkg upgrade -f packages, the following error appeared:

Oct 10 22:32:40 F3ja pulseaudio[64207]: [(null)] core-util.c: Failed to create secure directory (/var/run/user/1001/pulse): No such file or directory

I'm seeing this for years now, not just on the latest FreeBSD. The directory exists and contains a socket and a pid. Pulseaudio works fine so I've no idea why this happens.

In /etc/pam.d/system is this line there?

session         required        pam_xdg.so

pam_xdg(8).

Don't set XDG_RUNTIME_DIR yourself.
