C Using Raspberry to compile applications for my AMD64 Desktop.

I'm tinking of a USB-SATA convertor. But my problem is how to power the SATA ?
The converters i find have no own power, or are not for 2.5 inch.

PS2 : Changing brand of SD-card made a speed increase of 100 times faster for freebsd. Something I would not have expected.
