Is it possible to use a phone as keyboard or mouse for a laptop?

I think, you could use Termux and ssh to your machine. But I never tried it myself.

I used to use it...on Windows Vista I believe.
re FreeBSD - you will need (very well) working BlueTooth driver and hope the moble app sends HID signals compatible with FreeBSD implementation.

KDE Connect

Should work as remote touchpad and keyboard. At least on Linux. Not for me, tho. My banking app refuses to run if kdeconnect is installed for security reasons.

Oh, I see. fortunately they let me use their web portal since I am running custom ROM.
