Solved updated and upgraded - lost graphics

Hi

I was slowly setting up 14.3, when an upgrade roughly three weeks ago effected the grahics ie the graphics ie the desktop was lost.

From what I can gather for my card a radeon turks pro 6750 it should be a radeonkms, as the cards is below 7000. Raeonkms is on a line in /etc/rc.conf.

Does anyone know what exactly I am missing, or will it be a full reinstall which is what I am contemplating anyway.

I am a linux user and am writing this from said OS.

PS - forgot to add that I use startx and I get on screen 'no screens found'.

14.3 is EoL. Packages are built for 14.4.

Just upgrade to 14.4, no need for a reinstall. Unless you really want to. If you do go with the reinstall route, maybe go with 15.1-RELEASE instead. Or upgrade to 15.1, that's up to you. Just make sure you have the latest patches for 14.3 before you attempt to upgrade.
 
Ok everyone who replied and others,

I upgraded the system to 14.4-RELEASE and DRM is back, so the problem has gone.
