I personally have been avoiding ZFS because, honestly, I just do not have the time to dedicate to learning it so that I can fix it when something breaks. No stress like the stress of outages and data loss due to not knowing what to do.

Not to mention the goofy manual process to flash a PERC controller over to LSI .. had to take notes just make sure I do not miss a step:
