Solved The linux command line by e schotts

Hello all! new to the forum. I come from gnu/linux, but I like freebsd better it's better documented and it's got no gui. (I like that no distraction) but I'm just wondering if I can use the book the linux command line by e schotts.
For learning bash on freebsd mostly for shell scripts. Iv got bash from pkg and auto completion going. I'm just wondering if it's worth reading the shell scripts section.

I have also been looking at the unix and linux administration book fifth edition. Does anyone reccomend this book or another book that will be helpful. Thank you for taking the time to read my post and any help you may give.

bash should be the same on all *nix systems except of the shebang (use #!/usr/bin/env bash or #!/usr/local/bin/bash on FreeBSD).

For FreeBSD only you are maybe better adviced with Absolute FreeBSD by Michel W. Lucas or the Handbook.
